The Dance Floor
Its the first time I'm watching Singapore's edition of reality dance show the Dance Floor.
Some of the groups looked really polished, even practised in dance studios! Unless its family business or rich parentage, I'm guessing they hired professional choregraphers to help them with choice of dance, music, costume etc.
But the girl groups and boy groups seems to be doing better than the couple groups.
The judges are super dramatic! Their comments swing from terribly critical to horrendously supportive. I think they are more suited to be judges for reality acting competitions.
One group did a pull off the skirt and got battered like kids who stole. Another group had one guy sneezing in the middle of the dance and the judges applaude to his professionalism of emotions during the dance. HUH?
Its alot more entertaining then the other dance shows though. I think the judges are becoming more like an accessory to these reality shows then actually giving meaningful input for the contestants. They do not get to decide which team moves forward and which team does not, so really Why are they even on the show??
And someone please tell Gladys Tay to put on LESS make up. its very painful to watch her on the screen with hardly any eye but a blue patch of eye shadow.
