Back Breaking Work

yep, the digging season has started, many wonder what?

here's a brief picture story to tell you how i am doing my "work"

first i find a nice green pasture of grass, select the areas that we have to study and

then, we stick a metal gadget into the ground and extract some soil samples out. (accurately speaking, Ad does the sticking the gadget into the ground and Ad does the digging hee)
then as you pull out the gadget, a nice core of soil comes out with it like this

then I have to section this core into a few different portions for the rest of the work that I have to do with them. The sectioning is super back breaking man, imagine doing that for 5hrs under the hot sun for a few days in a row, my back nearly broke into two!

Then Ad will dig and dig for the plant along with its roots so that we can use the roots as well.
