food food n more food!

one dinner that i cooked by myself long long time ago... when i can still eat EGGS! hee...

did u see the noodles peeking out? dun worry, I din use the MSG that came with the noodles, I used ketchup and seasame oil to make the nicely cooked noodles fragrant and delicious also with a few drops of soya sauce... truly chinese cooking! And with Coke, any food would tastes delicious! hee...

oh... this one is of Mos Burger, it was ages since I last ate a Mos Burger, when they first came to Singapore decades ago, I used to frequent it with my friends as the place is always neat and clean and their burgers freshly prepared upon ordering. Which garantees that the burger will come FRESH and HOT! yummy! After all these years, their standards has not dropped, their burgers were still just as juicy with the sauce oozing out from every bite...

okay, I realised that the picture here looked pretty gross! like a bloody burger.. ha ha ha... i'm a lousy photographer! ha ha ha.... maybe I need a camera hp with better autofocus?? *hint* *hint* Christmas is coming.... ha ha ha ha.... I'm so thick skin... ha ha ha

remember the good old days when we would take MRT to marina south and take bus no. 400 to marine south south to eat steamboat dinner for under $10? I always remember hiding at the bowling alleys after the bbq-steamboat to "cool" off. I used to go there in a huge group of friends who do not mind the hassle of squeezing in the bus getting there and leaving the place... ah... those were the days... so we went there again! hee....


this is the begining when we're still very tamed.... or rather, after like almost a decade, we DUNNO how to get food liao!! *tsk* *tsk*


These days, at S$12/person, its pretty "high-class", they provide a huge range of cooked food from fried rice, noodles, mee goreng, satay (very good ones too! but each person can only take 8 sticks at a time), fruits etc. The spread of uncooked meat was huge too, many different types of marination on the different types of meat, so you can work out the math. What was disappointing was the range of vegetables, the only green green veggie was cabbage. so sad.... I was hopping for fresh sweetcorn instead of the mini-corn *bleah*


Can you guess? yes, these are crabs. FRESH ones too! Upon payment, you are given a few receipts, one of which allows you to claim your share of fresh crabs and prawns hee.... so fun, you get to pick out which crab you want and you have to clean it yourself and prepare the crab yourself too! our crabs are very professionally cut hor??? of course lah! we got big chef to do it wan leh... dun play play....


prawns were alot more exciting to "play" with... they give us a container of LIVE prawns and they were jumping up and down in the container... it was impossible to take them out without running fear of them all jumping out! Ha ha ha... after a while, we just dumped the whole container into the hot boiling soup to "tame" them first before bbq-ing them ha ha ha
