At home...
back home, alot of things happen too! Especially when I'm "home-bound" from the op and I had to do some "light-weighted" stuff to distract myself from the endless porridge eating days....
I'll start with what really perked me up even when I was feeling really tired in the hospital, it was this bouquet of Star Dust Lilies. The flowers are so fragrant that smelling it makes me feel happy and good. :)

then a few days later, I recieved a giant fruits and flower hamper from my car mechanic A, he's such a sweet gem....

got so much fruits lor... that we have to JUICE them!
in the spirit of healthier living, Ad and I decided to invest in a fruit juicer which we've been talking about for a million years... some of our friends were surprised that we have yet to get it! ha ha ha... well, there was Philips sale one of the weekends which thrilled Ad as it was exactly what he was waiting for. So he waited no more, three men throtted out of the house in search of the best deals at the Philips sale and returned victoriously with a Power Juicer-like juicer hee... we had fun getting fruits to be Juiced in the following weeks to come, here's feeble attempt at taking a shot of it...

best part of this juicer is that we dun really have to cut the fruits ha ha ha... shiok ah!
They say laughter is the best medicine... and one would never imagine to that one can derive so much laughter from the Xbox! ha ha ha..... One of those nights when I was truly restless and cannot sleep, we decided to explore a new game which Ad had recently acquired: Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King! I was very excited upon hearing the title of the game hee... cos it was my favourite of the three parts. And wondered what is it like to be playing the game for it!
Sorry ah, saya very suaku wan, this is my virgin experience at playing a game adapted from a movie, I had tonnes of questions about the games, the players, the rules the scences etc all of which was tough to answer because they come out at lightning speeds ha ha ha....
So we started the game and we chose our characters.... Ad was Aragon while I was Legolas hee... cos he's cuter! ha ha ha... and I liked to make Legolas jump up and down in his light-footed way. Very cute, too bad the animated version of him is not as cute as him in real life.. :(
We started the game playing in the deep dark stoney mountains where Aragon must defeat the dead spirits and gain their support. We were unfamilar with the routes and unsure where the bad guys would jump out of... so we played cautiously and fought hard (which means just jamming the fingers on all the buttons on the controller and screaming at the top of my lungs ha ha ha). I pretty much used my street fighter-playing techniques on this game as well. However, my fingers started to numb after a few matches with the dark side... it was painful to fight! Literatelly!
THEN! after we got rid of all the "evil" in the first part.... which took us like 15mins to fight... and then there was no more bad guys, we got stuck!! We did not know where to go! ha ha ha... we roamed around and around and around until we knew the mountains pretty well, still we did not know how to get across to the "dark side". finally we gave up trying and went online to seek for help! hee...
yes, I was laughing at how silly we were... fight for 15mins and search for 30mins!! ha ha ha....
here's our screen shots... note how "POWERFUL" we are...with the extended green bar...due to the long periods of non-fighting! ha ha ha
