YouTube
with blogging, pictures became an essential part of the "show & tell" and now with www.youtube.com, one can easily upload video clips and copy a short html and paste the video onto their blogsites. Amazing!
After a crazy night of pushing all the video footages onto youtube. I happily deleted most of the video files on my computer to declutter. It was only when a friend requested for a copy of their baby's video that I realised that one cannot download their videos from youtube! maybe there's another indirect way to do it but I'm still lost after some trial and error.
On the good side, no one can download the videos that i uploaded heh... they can only keep going back to watch the video over and over again. Its a good safety precaution.

I know Google Video allows downloads. E.g. see "Why my vote matters".

Came across your blog following Siva's post. You can download Isquint (for mac) (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/28250). It grabs videos from U Tube beauitfully.
