Supermarket!

Yeah, the latest craz in town is Ang Mo Supermarket! A supermarket in the heartlands of heartlands! The owner is rumoured to own a few other shops in other heartlands and has 8 shops all joined up into his newly opened supermarket which took him almost 1yr to renovate. (not that the contractors were slow, but owner preferred to do it himself! he's a real perfectionist, was told that even a tiny mini mis-alignment of his welding, he'll strip the shelves down and re-do it again! yes, he does his own welding as well. Interesting how a person paying almost 12k in rent/month prefers to do his own welding and taking 10months to open this supermarket....)

After all this waiting, the whole neighbourhood is excited about its opening. its got fresh vegetables!


yeah, rows of nice new green baskets full of green veggies lined up to allow the most discerning housewife to choose what's on their dinner menu.


oops, what's Ad doing there???? he seems to be asking me to go over. oh really? Woah, the veggies are like 30cents CHEAPER!

they have so many many items! I almost went dizzy, maybe some baby food will help?


yes, almost everything in here is cheaper by a few cents as compared to NTUC or other nearby shops, maybe its an opening gimmick to get the whole neighbourhood to get sucked into the convenience of getting their stuff from them. Let's hope it lasts as long as it took him to renovate his supermarket hee....
