Red skies

one late evening after work, after starting the car engine to drive home, totally exhausted, not just from the hours of being under the sun doing manual labour, but more from a huge disappointment. Previously, blogged about God answering my prayer, maybe He did it in a different way. A way which I have yet to understand.

I've waited for a clear sign before entering this "battlefield" yet, I had to retracted quickly. Cannot help but feel immensely disappointed at the whole experience.

So I drove home in my aircon-less car, with the red red sky above, strong strong winds, loud and thunderous lightning and a super heavy heart. I cannot imagine how am I going to get home in one piece with no aircon in the car, I'll be forced to close all the windows and drive in it. So I prayed. Asking God to show me the way home.

Thankfully He did. He got me home safely, despite the strong winds, rain came only in drizzles and the accident vehicles were already moved to the road shoulders. Otherwise, getting stuck in the rain with a traffic jam, definitely the formula for a car-breakdown.

Yes, I am assured again that God watches out for those who needs Him. In the same way, I should be doing the same too.
