Our fish tank...

I know Jen's given a preview already but now it's time to finally share everything about our fish tank. It's really taken so much time over a good one year to finally learn how to take care of the fishes. It's really not easy when it comes to a marine tank. Why? There are so many more indicators and the fishes and corals are all very sensitive. After all the reading and testing, here they are after 3 weeks in the tank!

Introducing our Purple Lobster - LOBBIE! He's a real fast one. He hides snuggly in the dark and comes out fast for food. He moves with super duper agility and it's amazing looking at his tail with 2 dots that stand out like eyes to deter predators.



Then there's our full tank here, with a BIG anemone that I feed consistently brine shrimps and it whallops the whole piece in a matter of seconds. (that is as I wave off the resident clone fishes that may insist that the shrimps are for them instead), 2 chromis, 2 clown fishes, 3 hermit crabs (thanks to S and J for getting them!) and our AH HOCK - the spotted barramundi!









It's such a joy watching them swimming and especially during feeding! :) And when it's time to visit Jes jie or Eugi Jie, it's a different experience with the Aros! Shawn, when is it gonna be your turn with the ARO!?

We went to Pasir Ris today and got a "change of clothes" for HERMIE... got him 2. Dropped it in and it took him a mere 10 mins to start checking them out. And guess what?! He's now changing from one to another to find out which one fits him best! Just saw how he changed from one to another and it's so cool!
