CK Joi Singapore Wedding I

As a prelude of their Singapore Big Day, I'm going to showcase some of the wedding related pics hee...

here's one traditional one, which most Singaporeans have to stick on their doors for the auspicious day.

However, this one seems abit more elaborated dun you think?

they have been receiving gifts & well wishes from friends and relatives for a while now, and here's some cute ones:

This couple is hand-made in Seoul to symbolise the newly wed couple dressed in korean hanbok! So cute eh? Maybe most koreans are tall people, notice how skinny they are! hee...

then of course, they also receive a couple ornament that wore traditional chinese costume...

notice how cute the boy looks when his bride is about to give him a kiss? Maybe that's what they call Cheeky look! ha ha ha...

have you ever wondered what shoes does the ladies wear with their hanbok?? Wonder no more...

these are hand-made, with very intricate design and superb worksmanship. Joi was encouraged to wear them as normal shoes even! ha ha ha.... see you if can catch her in these one day.

Wanna see the hanbok close up? For different occassion, the hanbok is wore differently... or shall I say with different colors? For the newly wed, the bride should wear RED and the groom Blue. The Bride's family should wear red or pink and the groom's family should wear green. I guess Its a great custom to keep so that you will NEVER get mixed up with the bride and groom's family if you should be put in that awkward situation hee... for the seniors in the family, I'm positive that they have some color coded-dress-code but I have learn that part yet....

someone teach me?? hee...

So after the frenzy of the Seoul wedding, we finaly had a chance to oogle at their lovely hanbok when they wore it once again for the Singapore's wedding tea ceromony to the elderlys...

We got them to pose for us and woah.... check out the details on the cuffs of their hanbok!
