Being 30

My reality of being 30 started from the stroke of 12midnight.

My darling, spent one whole entire week preparing for my big day... (dun ask me if he's got any real work work done k? *wink*)

I had to hid inside my bedroom while he prepared the present.... When I finally am allowed to unveil my present, it was a lovely wall mural of my favourite comic strip, yes Peanuts you guess it!

For more than 20months, we've wanted to paint the wall with my favourite comic characters like Linus, Snoopy, Woodstock, Lucy, Charlie Brown, Sally, Peppermint Patty etc... but it seems too distructive for a perfectly flat wall (not denying that lazyness also has a part to play...)

So now, finally, when I hit the big 30, I got my wall of Peanuts! Doesn't sound too matured isnt it? *wide grin*

Yes, the day also started with lots of mini-surprises... I knew I was going to have lunch with some friends, just that I kept guessing them WRonG, hope its not that the guessing-instincts get worn out when you are 30???? *wide eyes*

We ate at the most delicious Jap BBQ resturant in Goodwood Park Hotel, called Shima, its thinly sliced beef, tempura, salmon sashimi..... yummy!

As my presents got unfolded.... one appears to be wrapped up in the most UNIQUE way ha ha ha.... wait till i upload the pic for it... u maybe inspired to wrap like that in the future!

We ate yummy seafood in Ang Mo Kio also, and here... I got fooled again by a notty couple. E sms-ed me mins before we sat down on the table wishing me happy birthday, hence I thought that they wont be the surprise guest at my dinner... but it turns out to be a "tiao hu li shan" divert the attention of a tiger out of its mountain/cave....

We had a late night birthday cake celebration when Mr. Monster and No. 8 came from their other dinner party.... here, I heard the FUnniEsT birthday song being sung, you've got to request Blim to sing for you again...

As the 1st day of being 30 unfolded, the girls got to "exercise" over at the mahjong table while the boy were entertained by the Xbox!

What a day.
